Çesme / Alacati

With three beautiful marinas in the area, the future sailing in this area of Aegean Ocean is far on its way of being perfect.

Alaçatı Çeşme lagoon is an „El Dorado” for windsurfer who take the advantage of the wind coming from the north. The new Marina Port Alaçatı, with its nice restaurants, is a part of an ambitious project to build a lagoon city planned by the French architect of Port Grimaud.  The modern marinas Port Alacati Marina, Cesme Marina and Teos Marina Sigacik, all situated on the Cesme peninsula,  present a network of marinas making sailing in this beautiful area even more attractive. Alaçatı village  (3 km from the harbour) is the perfect in-vougue-venue for the turkish jetset with ist nice galleries, beautiful modernised, greek stone houses, chique boutique hotels and excellent restaurants. Alaçati is an ideal starting point for sailing in direction north in direction Istanbul, f.i. to Foça and Ayvalik and to the greek islands or to the south f.i. to  Teos (Sigacik), Kusadasi and Bodrum and also to the greek islands like Chios, Samos, Lipsi, Leros aund Kalymnos u.v.a.m.

Bodrum, Turgutreis and Yalikavak

Since years popular area for water sports and an excellent area for sailing along the turkish coast and in the turkish and greek archipelago.

On the peninsula with Bodrum as the main village, you will find three big, modern marinas, Yalikavak, Turgutreis and Bodrum. A vivicious regatta scene is one of the many reasons which makes this area to an important center for yachting.

The peninsula with ist white houses, the special charm of th town Bodrum, also called the turkish „St. Tropez“,  is since years a popular place for artists, intellectuals and urkish wealthy turkish people.

The Bodrum peninsula is a magnificent starting point for the majestic, wooden gulets on one of the beautiful cruises (Blue Cruises) along the turkish coast and in the turkish and greec archipelago.

On the peninsula you will find the luxerious Yalikavak, one of the most exclusive marinas in the Mediterranean and also the elegant Turgutreis marina. Hier you will find supermarkets, boutiques and restaurants, but also beautiful beaches. The white city of Bodrum with its marina is of course allways worth visiting.

Turgutreis, Yalikavak and Bodrum are the ideal starting points for sailing in the greek archipelago (special formalities) and in the beautiful Golf of Gökova and Hisarönü as well as the areas around Datca, Marmaris , Göcek and more.

Marmaris: Gateway to Eastern Mediterranean

Marmaris, boasting one of the largest marinas in the Eastern Mediterranean, is surrounded by lush hills. Netsel Marina provides an excellent infrastructure, and the bay’s conditions make Marmaris a favored sailing destination.

Göcek and Fethiye – the Dalaman Area

Protected against the open ocean, numerous sheltered bays and places to anchor up for some hours, nice marinas and beautiful villages make the western part of the Fethiye Gulf to an almost perfect sailing ground.

The small, neat village Göcek, in the heart of the Fethiye Bay has the last years become one of the most popular berths for sailors in the Eastern Mediterranean area. 

The distance to Dalaman Airport is only 22 km.
Fethiye with its oriental flair provides the sailor not only with good marinas, but also with nice restaurants, steamy hamam, busy market life, typical, local carpet stores and good shopping facilities.
Not far away from the center you will see sarcophagues standing in the middle of the street, the Lycian rock tombs in the wall on the mountain above the town and the ancient theater.
